The last few days have been crazy so my blogging has suffered quite a bit. Everything from night shift to stapling my finger. And now my wisdom teeth are killing me. Since daylight savings ended it has been difficult to find enough light for ootd photos. We managed to get only two good shots on our last attempt.
I bought a few kimono jackets recently, and this one would be my favourite. It went wonderfully with my new morange lipstick from mac. I’m in love with the colour but I’ll leave that rant for another post. I wanted the kimono to be the focal point of the outfit so I paired it with a black singlet and skinny jeans. A few accessories tied it all together. What do you think about the colour orange? Would you wear it this season?

Gold and polka dots in one trend? Its almost like xmas. If you knew me, you’d know that I lust over things that are sparkly. While browsing a lot fo design sites and blogs I’ve noticed more and more gold accent pieces. And when Kate spade starting including them on everything from notepads to champagne glasses, I knew it was something I needed to incorporate into my room. I still haven’t quite figured it out, but these pieces are gorgeous. And if you need more than just an accent piece then you could always cover an entire wall with gold polka dots!
Autumn is here but the weather hasn’t quite gotten the memo yet. We are experiencing a long indian summer, but I’m not complaining. I’ll take whatever sun I can get. This OOTD was something I wore on a little shopping spree and lunch date with a friend. I love tiffany blue and I think its a colour that suits almost anyone. I’m trying to be a bit adventurous with my wardrobe and steer away from the black and white that has taken over in the last few months.

Hello lovelies, it’s been a beautiful summer here in good ol’ NZ. I have had a long vaycay from blogging as well as my day to day life. This summer has been pretty eventful (I won’t bore you with the details). I went overseas; caught up with family, friends, did too much shopping, ate amazing food, and had some amazing experiences. During this time the blog has been a little bit neglected, but hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things. I’ve planned to make this year memorable by doing everything I have always wanted to do, and I hope the blog reflects that. So if you’re still around, stay tuned for more.
So in a nutshell that was my summer. Now I’m back in NZ soaking up the remnants of the long Indian summer we are experiencing.
As we come towards the end of another year, its a perfect time to reflect on the year that has gone by. I am This year has been crazy for me. I think I’ve definitely done quite a lot of growing up in a short period of time. I’ve had to make decisions I don’t think I’m quite ready for. There have been some wonderful things that have happened and some not so wonderful. My blog started out as a journal I’d one day reflect on, and even though there are a lot more people reading it now, I still want to use it to document my day to day life. Feel free to skip over this post if its not your cup of tea.
